VinWonders Nha Trang at a glance
VinWonders is an amusement and water park on Hon Tre, the largest island in the bay. This page is an independent guide and is not run by the park. Prices and hours come from the park's own published notices, so check them again before you buy.
The standard ticket includes the cable car to the island and back, plus the park areas and shows. A zipline is not part of the standard ticket. The park sits on an island, so getting there is part of the day: plan for the crossing at both ends.

Cable car pause: 26 October to 10 November 2026
The park has announced that the cable car stops for maintenance in this period. If your trip falls in these dates, read this before you book.
What is announced
The cable car to Hon Tre is scheduled to be out of service from 26 October to 10 November 2026. The notice on the park's site carries an older page date, but it names the 2026 maintenance period explicitly.
What that means for your visit
The park describes a speedboat crossing as the alternative when the cable car is stopped by weather. How the crossing is handled during the maintenance weeks, including boat times and waiting times, is not published. Ask the seller before you pay.
Safest approach
If you can move your day, choose a date outside the pause. If not, buy a ticket only after you know how you will cross to the island.

Opening hours and when to go
The park's article on opening hours gives daily hours of 09:00โ20:00, weekends included, and names no regular weekly closing day. Another listing on the park's site shows 08:30 as the start, so plan to arrive a little before 09:00 and confirm on the day.
Individual areas such as shows and water attractions keep their own hours. The after-16:00 ticket suits a late start: it is cheaper, and the evening is cooler. It gives you less time for rides, though.
- Arriving early gives you the most time for the cable car crossing and the park.
- The unlimited 2-day and 3-day tickets only pay off if you really plan to return.
- Rain is common from September to December, see our Nha Trang weather guide before you fix a date.

Getting to Hon Tre
The cable car crosses the water from the mainland to Hon Tre and is included in the standard ticket, both ways. In bad weather the park says it switches to speedboats. Plan your return crossing as well, since the park closes at 20:00 according to its published hours.
The island has more than the park. Bai Tru, a beach on Hon Tre, is covered on our beaches page. The other islands of the bay, where boat trips go, are on the islands and snorkeling page. A hotel stay on Hon Tre is a separate product from park entry unless your booking says otherwise, so check what a room rate includes.
If you want a similar park on a different island, see how the cable car and VinWonders work on Phu Quoc in our sister guide: VinWonders Phu Quoc.
Rides, water slides and the aquarium
The park runs fast water slides with strict limits. For the slides the park names, you need to be taller than 130 cm (4 ft 3 in), weigh under 100 kg (220 lb) and be under 50 years old. These limits apply to those slides, not to the park entry or to every water attraction.
The aquarium was listed as closed for renovation from March 2025 to February 2026. That period has passed, so check at the gate or with the seller whether it is open on your date. The Nha Trang Oceanography Museum in town is a different attraction and not the same as the aquarium in the park, see things to do in Nha Trang.
Premium VIP tours on the park's offers page need a booking at least one day ahead. Standard tickets do not carry that rule, but buying online is recommended.

A practical plan for the day
Allow a full day. Cross to the island in the morning and do the big attractions first. Take a break in the middle of the day, when the sun is strongest. If you use the after-16:00 ticket, aim for the evening shows and the cooler hours instead.
- Bring sun protection, a swimsuit and a towel if you want the water areas.
- Keep your ticket confirmation on your phone, since tickets are not refundable.
- Check the cable car status on the day, especially in late October and early November 2026.
Arriving by plane? Our Cam Ranh airport page lists the ways into town. For a base near the waterfront and the cable car, see where to stay in Nha Trang. If you add a longer Vietnam trip, Hoi An is a popular stop further up the coast.
